In 2008, US Airbag set out to make the softest, highest quality, USA made air assisted freestyle training bag for athletic progression and public amusement. Since day one, we have been serious about safety, craftsmanship, and user experience. We've accomplished this by partnering with a leading industry manufacturer and by spending two years testing dual chamber prototype designs. Based on Newton's laws of physics, our "catch bubble" design provides the perfect top chamber deceleration speeds, providing the softest landing for users.

We offer an extra tough top layer that is bulletproof (literally!) for those Summer activities such as BMX, and Mountain Biking.

SIZE & DESIGN

We offer two main sizes, 50'x50' & 65'x65'.
Our factory has the capability to build any size or shape, including custom branding for the top and side sheets.

INFLATION & VENTING

INFLATION

Inflation tubes allow blower placement on both sides if needed. Heavy-duty industry standard "snail" blowers require 2-20 amp circuit breakers.

VENTING

There are Top Chamber velcro vents on all four sides to change pressure and control impact tension. By controlling the air flow, you can create a super soft or more realistic landings.

Bottom Chamber vents are fully closed when in operation, and can be opened to let air out for breakdown and transportation. A special feature on the bottom chamber allows operators access to bag guts.

CHAMBER SYSTEM

Internal Two-Chamber Design Perfected!
Chamber 2 - Our top chamber is patent pending and the secret lies in our large top chamber design, which provides the softest landings at high impact speeds.  Want to know the size breakdown? You'll have to visit us to try to figure that out, we're not telling.

Chamber 1 - Safety bottom chamber is shorter and protects the user in case the top chamber fails from improper operation or sudden wind gusts that can push the top bubble around slightly. Same deal as above with the tech specs, the size is patent pending, the magic is in the ratios.

REPAIR

After years of use, top sheet surface may need replacement and every Airbag sale comes with an extra top sheet. If torn, top sheets can be fixed before replacement is necessary. Don't worry, Airbag downtime for repair is usually less than two hours. Vinyl top sheet is easily patched with vinyl cement and each sale comes with a patch kit for repairs. Vinyl is very durable and rarely gets cut during proper use. If you would prefer an extra tough top layer, we offer a top sheet upgrade that is literally bulletproof.

AIRBAG ANCHOR SYSTEM

Multiple anchors around the Airbag corkscrew into the snow and are rated for 215 pounds each. As an added safety feature, we also include a 10.1 dynamic perimeter safety rope. This rope is separately attached to a concrete anchoring system.

OPERATION & STAFFING

Two operators are recommended to run the airbag successfully; one person to check passes at the top and clear participants, and another to handle any issues that arise. Another person is recommended if an onsite payment system is in place.

RENT, LEASE OR PURCHASE

If you purchase, finance or rent from US Airbag, our most experienced team members are available to work with you to provide operational and safety training on site.

Shipping and manufacturing costs are greatly reduced since all raw materials and manufacturing are domestic.

US AIRBAG TOUR

We took our Airbag on the road and traveled across the country to ski resorts to allow everyone to see for themselves why we have the best and softest training airbag.

Resorts got the chance to see that airbag operations are safe for the public and proven to increase ticket sales to resorts.

Private shoots pale in comparison to the difficulties of running a public event, and US Airbag has held over a dozen successful events in every region in the US over the past two years.
